BackJoy’s advanced back pain treatment for back pain sufferers

How It Works

BackJoy’s advanced design and cutting edge materials combine to create a highly effective remedy for back pain sufferers.

BackJoy's patented Auto-forming Action works to prevent and relieve back pain in three ways:

#1. BackJoy Flexes to Perfect your Sitting Posture
BackJoy flexes to perfect your sitting posture by tilting the pelvis and spine into a comfortable loose-pack and pelvic neutral position that is unique to each individual user. This gentle alignment of the sacral region corrects the dysfunctional mechanics caused by sitting. The strain and pressure of supporting your body weight is moved away from the spine’s muscles and ligaments and placed on proper weight bearing bones (the Ischial Tuberosities). Less strain and pressure means less aggravation and pain.

#2. BackJoy Cups the Gluteus Muscles
BackJoy eliminates the automatic tightening of the back muscles by cupping the gluteus muscles. Because the gluteus muscles have shared ligaments with back muscles, they require equal tension on both sides. Sitting without BackJoy compresses the gluteus muscles between the seat and your sitting bones. This triggers a reflex response that tightens the back’s muscles in an effort to equalize the tension in the shared back ligaments. BackJoy’s unique cupping design eliminates the reflex response. Less tightening equals less pain.

#3. BackJoy Cradles the Pelvis
BackJoy creates an extra layer of protection for your back by forming a soft natural padding under your weight-bearing bones. Like a pain relieving shock absorber, BackJoy cradles the pelvis, floating it within your muscle tissues. The six components of the pelvis are able to work as one unit, reducing the wear and tear on the sacral joints. The cradling effect also floats the sacrum so it can freely assist with spinal fluid circulation. This can help keep the user refreshed and alert, even after hours of sitting.
